PRODUCER / DIRECTOR

A Story Producer can save time and money during production and post-production.

Before the hike, I held pre-interviews with Sid and his dad. I listened to their stories and asked them questions about what this hike meant to them.

I took story beats from our conversation and created a story map. I suggested tonal and thematic ideas for the film team.

After production, I sat in on edits and gave story notes. For instance, we intentionally created a lot of space between the sound bytes to let in more nature sounds. We wanted the audience to feel like they were on the hike with them and feel the peace and wonder that nature offers.
